The swimmers' snorkel allows swimmers to concentrate on body balance, head position and stroke technique by eliminating the breathing cycle rotation, breathing through the snorkel while swimming increases the capacity of the lungs to expel air, required for optimal intake of oxygen. Regular snorkel training increases CO2 tolerance and VO2max.
This patented front-mount design swimmers' snorkel can be worn with any standard swimming goggle.
The senior snorkel is recommended from around age 12, however is dependant on the swimmer's ablility and the swimming coach should be consulted.
Snorkels are supplied complete with head brackets and purge valves. Spares are available from us on our snorkel page.
